After the (literally) small lunch at Bai Wei, we took the escalator up to the second floor of New Town Mall and walked a round, looking at the shops. New Town Mall was actually similar to Platinum Mall in Bangkok or the Dongdaemun Outlet Malls in Seoul, whereby a large number of small specialised shops were selling their goods.
Unfortunately, our feet were getting worn out, so we located the main road and the bus stop. We took a bus down Nathan Road back to St. Andrew’s Cathedral, then made our way back to Stanford Hillview, where we took a well-needed break. We really needed it! The markets took a huge toll on us, so we would recommend preparing oneself adequately before tackling all five of them!
